Applications Are Now Open for the Next Cohort of the VBKI Mentoring Program

The VBKI Mentoring Program is a 9-month individualized learning process that involves the exchange of experiences and the transfer of knowledge between two people. Mentors engage with mentees who are seeking solutions and share relevant experiences. It is a give-and-take process for both sides.

Following the midpoint celebration of this year's mentoring program in June, the application period for the upcoming cohort is now open, with a deadline in December 2026.

In addition to an opening and closing event, participants can look forward to a midpoint celebration as well as other professional development opportunities throughout the program. The tandems organize their individual meetings on their own.

Newly certified by the German Society for Mentoring

The VBKI Mentoring Program has been successfully certified by the German Society for Mentoring without any conditions. This confirms that an independent scientific advisory board has determined the program meets the German Society for Mentoring’s quality standards to a high degree.

Particular praise was given to the careful and personalized matching process, the professional preparation and support provided to the tandems, the structured supporting program, and the thriving alumni community. The certification thus underscores the program’s high quality standards and its ongoing development.

Regular alumni gatherings offer participants opportunities to connect and network even after the program has ended. VBKI membership is not required to participate in the program.
