VBKI Team Paris 2024 is set
Promoting top-class sport: VBKI supports 14 top Berlin athletes on their way to the Olympic Games
Exactly one year before the ceremonial opening of the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in the French capital, the VBKI Paris 2024 team is complete!
"Not all athletes can make a living from their sporting success, in fact most of them - especially in the less TV-relevant sports - fly below the radar of sponsors.
VBKI Managing Director Ute Weiland

400-metre runner Marc Koch: "It is an honor to be part of the VBKI Paris 2024 team and to represent the club. This affiliation opens up great opportunities for me to further my sporting and professional development. The wide range of activities and events offered by the VBKI provide me with an ideal platform for personal growth."

VBKI Team Paris 2024
Performance should be rewarded - as a forum of committed entrepreneurs, this principle is firmly anchored in our thoughts and actions. Against this background, promoting sport in Berlin is part of the VBKI's DNA. With the "Team Paris 2024" program, the VBKI supports Berlin's top athletes on their way to the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
Together with partners from Berlin's competitive sports community, we have nominated 14 top Berlin athletes from 10 disciplines, whom we are supporting with financial aid and benefits in kind worth a total of 15,000 euros. The prerequisite for appointment to the VBKI selection is, in addition to basic need, the justified prospect of participating in the Olympic Games in Paris. All team members must live and train in the capital region. The VBKI Sports Committee, which is in charge of the selection process, is supported by partners such as the Berlin Olympic Training Center and the Berlin State Sports Association. The team members are supported with a financial contribution of 750 euros per person as well as benefits in kind from AMSPORT.
