Water Congress 2024
On April 09 and 10 in Cottbus
Water as a resource and its efficient use are becoming increasingly important for our region, not only due to the increasing weather extremes, but also due to population and economic growth and structural change in Lusatia. In order to secure and strengthen the business location of the Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan region, the negative effects of climatic and structural changes must be kept to a minimum. Drinking water supply and economic growth must not be played off against each other.
Close, cross-border cooperation between politicians, water suppliers, industry, science and other stakeholders is therefore crucial in order to overcome challenges such as water scarcity and conflicts of use in the metropolitan region in good time.
The chambers of industry and commerce (IHKs) from Berlin-Brandenburg, together with Verein Berliner Kaufleute und Industrieller e. V. (VBKI) and the Berlin-Brandenburg regional group of the Verband kommunaler Unternehmen e. V. (VKU) are holding this year's Water Congress on April 9 and 10, 2024. The event will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cottbus (directly opposite the main railway station). The first Water Congress took place in July 2022 and is now to be established as a regular format across all countries.

The invoice will be issued by the IHK Cottbus after the end of the registration window and only payment by bank transfer will be accepted.
