Ceremonial reception for the newcomers

Introductions at the Grand Hyatt Berlin: We welcome 50 new members!

Tradition obliges, and this is especially true for one VBKI institution: the new member reception. In a festive setting, around 50 business personalities met in the library of the Grand Hyatt to make their debut in the VBKI over a three-course dinner with the Executive Committee.

Executive Committee members Markus Voigt, Stephanie Bschorr, Dr. Andrea Grebe, Kaweh Niroomand and Dr. Jörg Ritter gave an overview of the VBKI's self-image and structure. They reported on the association's various activities and invited people to get involved and get involved in the VBKI.

Each new member was then asked to introduce themselves. Those who could be brief had a clear advantage: they had exactly 60 seconds to introduce themselves. The consolation was that even after the hourglass had run out, there were still plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas, make contacts and expand your network.

We were particularly pleased this time about the high number of younger members and the high proportion of female new members. In any case, welcome to the VBKI!
