Our Business and Ethics Committee

The Business & Ethics Committee deals with ethically relevant issues of economic activity. The committee's declared aim is to provide impetus, actively participate in the socio-political discourse on the development of our community and offer a communication platform. Its members are convinced that the concept of the social market economy can only endure in the long term if economic thought and action is also credibly communicated in terms of its value and benefits for the common good.

Entrepreneurs are confronted with conflicting goals every day in the daily decision-making process. To translate timelessly valid moral standards into the language of today's business world, the Committee has therefore formulated the guiding principles of honorable businesspeople, which are intended to help members and the economy in general to orient themselves in terms of business ethics in the inevitable conflicts of objectives and interests.
