Opportunities of globalization for the capital

The International Politics and Economics Committee aims to bring the association as a whole closer to international issues and to provide VBKI members with exclusive access to special expertise and sustainable contacts in the field of international economic policy - also and especially in order to identify new business opportunities and possibilities in this way.

Since its foundation in early 2013, the committee has developed a series of event formats to bring exclusive knowledge and new networking opportunities to the association. What are the consequences of the US elections for Europe and its economy? What opportunities arise from the upheavals in the Arab world? What consequences does the Ukraine crisis have for German-Russian economic relations? The Committee explores questions such as these together with high-ranking experts from business and academia, for example at the "Foreign Policy Lunch".
