Vernissage with Galerie Office Impart
Photos & Text: Katja Bartz | Event Management VBKI
Since this week, the foyer of the VBKI office has been home to brightly colored paintings with figurative or cipher-like elements and sculptures in which industrial materials and everyday objects are placed in a completely new relationship. These works were created by Jagoda Bednarsky and Hannah Sophie Dunkelberg.
We are very pleased that Jagoda Bednarsky accompanied the vernissage.
Both artists, who live in the Spree metropolis, were selected and are represented by the OFFICE IMPART gallery, the 2023 winner of the VBKI-Prize BERLINER GALERIEN was. The award, endowed with 10,000 euros, has been promoting young Berlin galleries since 2017 - thus strengthening Berlin's position as an international art market location.
OFFICE IMPART was founded in 2018 by Johanna Neuschäffer and Anne Schwanz. A gallery that expands the traditional gallery model.
Around 40 VBKI members and guests took the opportunity during the vernissage to talk to the artist and the gallery owners and find out more about the background to the works.
Many thanks to Johanna Neuschäffer and Anne Schwanz for providing the wonderful works of art and for accompanying the vernissage.
