DIALOGUE
Our real estate committee
Berlin is growing. Every year, 50,000 more people live in Berlin than in the previous year. How can new residential construction be made attractive? Is there a risk of the market overheating due to the rapidly rising rental and purchase prices for real estate? What are the plans for the subsequent use of the Tegel airport site?
This committee, which includes high-ranking representatives from politics and the real estate industry, deals with issues such as these. Its members discuss current developments and problems facing the real estate industry in Berlin. Experts and decision-makers from various sectors are regularly invited to the five to six meetings per year to provide the group with insights into their work and allow a cross-sector view of the bigger picture. The confidential exchange of opinions is an essential part of this.
